Dartmoor Accommodation

With its imposing granite tors, rugged moorland, deep wooded valleys and freely roaming animals, it’s not hard to see why Dartmoor attracts so many visitors every year.

For anyone visiting Dartmoor National Park www.dartmooraccommodation.co.uk is an excellent resource listing lots of local hotels, B&B’s, holiday cottages and campsites. The website makes it easy for visitors to find what they’re looking for, whether it’s a dog friendly farmhouse or child friendly hotel.

Dartmoor Accommodation isn’t just useful for finding great places to stay; it also provides lots of local information and great ideas for places to visit. The activities page lists a number of moorland walks and bike rides, as well as adventure activities and where to go for family days out, whilst the What’s On guide keeps visitors up to date on the latest events. Recently, I worked with Dartmoor Accommodation to create an article that recommends some top spots to take your mum for afternoon tea on Mother’s Day.

For anyone wanting to have their special day in one of the most beautiful places in the country, the wedding section on Dartmoor Accommodation is particularly useful for finding accommodation, service venues, flower providers and caterers.

  • Just for the record, they got a taste of prpoer Hound-of-the-Baskervilles weather. The day they came down was the day it broke (from hot), and was quite pleasant though showery. Next day was very gray with drizzle and wind, while their last day was wet, with heavy one-minute-to-soaking-wet showers.
