Our Story

We’re Bill and Parmi – a couple brought together by fate, Devon, and a shared love of good food.

Our story began online, but it truly came to life on Christmas Eve, when we met in person for the first time. We decided to take a trip to the beautiful moors of Dartmoor, Devon, and visited the iconic landmark site Bowerman’s Nose. That day sparked something special – a connection not just with each other, but with the region itself.

Then came COVID. Like many couples, we were forced to live apart, relying on video calls and messages to stay close. For Valentine’s Day, I sent Parmi a Devon Heaven hamper – a box full of local treats that brought a little taste of our favourite place to her doorstep. It was more than a gift; it was a reminder of the love and memories we were building.

A year later, we were married.

We then took the next step in our journey and acquired Devon Heaven, a business that had already played a meaningful role in our story. Today, we’re proud to share our passion and the magic of Devon with others. We’ve swapped printed boxes for 100% recyclable plain cardboard packaging, and instead of industrial printing, we hand-stamp each box ourselves.
