Visit Santa’s magical kingdom at Otter Nurseries for a special Christmas experience. Take a journey through Santa’s Winter Wonderland and meet his friendly elves. Tickets can only be bought in advance and are £14.99 per child, including a gift and magical reindeer food. Sign up to their newsletter to hear first when tickets are released.

Wyevale Garden Centre's do a traditional Santa's Grotto or breakfast / afternoon tea with Santa. The grotto is £6 per child.

Santa’s Grotto at the House of Marbles is an excellent choice if you don’t want to book in advance. The Grotto is open 10am – 3pm on the dates above and has a tbc theme. Child entry costs £6.99 and includes a gift, a balloon and a badge.

Treat your children to a nativity play at Pennywell followed by a visit to Santa’s Grotto where they will receive a special Christmas gift. They can also meet Santa’s reindeer and enjoy homemade Christmas biscuits and squash in the café (there will be mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies for the adults!) On selected dates, visitors can enjoy breakfast with Father Christmas followed by the nativity play.

Bygones are offering visitors the chance to have breakfast or lunch with Santa. Both options include entrance into Bygones, visiting Santa in his workshop and a traditional present for children. Booking is essential.

Join Seaton Tramway for a special Polar Express Tram Ride! Based on the book and Christmas movie, this trip to the ‘North Pole’ invites you to take part in the Polar Express experience by tram. Listen to and sing along with all the songs, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies served by dancing chefs and meet Santa and his elves. Each child receives a gift from Santa and you are welcome to wear your pyjamas onboard, just like in the film!

Join South Devon Railway for Santa by Steam! Father Christmas will be back on his decorated grotto train during December. Trains leave Buckfastleigh Station and the journey takes about one and a half hours. Booking is essential.

2018 tbc, here's last years details: Father Christmas will be at Escot in his Christmas Grotto with presents for visiting children. There will be activity stalls with things for children to make and decorate. In the park you can see the otters receive their Christmas presents and enjoy traditional Yuletide fare in the outdoor Christmas Kitchen and Coach House Restaurant.
